This time-honored tradition is a favorite of families throughout the region, as it’s actually the largest turkey trot in the area! Running in this race is so much more than just a friendly competition. It’s a way to support your community! Proceeds from the race support SOME (So Others May Eat). This local non-profit organization provides critical programs and resources to those in the D.C.-area suffering from addiction, homelessness, and aging. This event helps them to provide housing, meals, access to healthcare, employment training, and addiction programs to help people get back on their feet and become productive members of our community again.
